Vision - Spirit - Creativity
Our surgeons are Diplomates of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons (ACVS). Diplomate status or "Board Certification" in a specialty is achieved after graduation from veterinary school and includes a one-year internship and three year residency program as well as successful completion of written, oral, and practical examinations.
Our surgeons have published many scientific articles and textbook chapters pertaining to veterinary surgery. In addition, they actively lecture internationally, nationally, and locally on "state of the art" veterinary diagnostic and surgical techniques.
Our thorascopic and laparoscopic capabilities allows for state of the art management of complex critical thoracic and abdominal procedures using the least invasive technique to facilitate rapid recovery. We have been on the forefront of incorporating laser surgical technology to complicated airway and reconstructive surgical procedures.
